Nathan "Bo" Redford - Missouri Angler!

Blue Catfish - 18 lb. 13 oz.

Looks like Bo was showing his little brother, Stanley Cole how to catch the big ones. This 18 pound 13 oz. blue catfish was caught in their pond on cut bait.  Seems like dad, Stanley has a future fishing partner. Nice catfish Nathan. Aunt Gertie is proud of you and keep it up... (HERE IS BO'S STORY HE SENT ME YESTERDAY BY Kirby):  Catfish - It was a Saturday night and I was using my Ambassador reel & telescofic St. Croix rod.  I was using crappie I had caught earlier that day.  It was just about to get dark when something big hit.  It was pretty much 5 minutes of don't fall in.  Eventually, I got him in and weighed, he was 18.13oz.  We took a picture and let him free.  Of course my little brother wanted to get in the picture, he though he wold get glory and praise and thats the END.  Sincerely Bo.  (Bo wrote these stories and sent them by Kirby yesterday)!

(Bo you better watch that little Brother because he will be catching more big fish than you do)!  By your Aunt Gertie

Bo Redfords 7 pound largemouth bass!

Another nice fish caught on May 30th in the family pond.  Bo caught this 7 pound largemouth all by himself and what a beauty.  I don't know if they released it back into the water or not, but I would say they did.  He is going to be a "chip off the old block"!  His dad, Stan has been fishing since he was a small boy. Stan drove down from his home in Missouri over the weekend and fished on the Arkansas river while he was here.  When he was a small boy he would visit in the summer and he and cousin, James Barber did a lot of fishing then.  Look at the color of this bass!  (Bo's story sent to me by Kirby Rogers yesterday)!

BASS:  It was about 2:00 P.M. on a Saturday.  Me and my neighbors son were crappie fishing. I was using my exspinity ultra cast rod & reel.  I had a minnow and bobber on.  I turned around for half a second and when I turned back my bobber was sitting underwater.  I yanked up and while I was trying to keep my rod up a big 7 pound Bass jumped out.  I was trying to reel him in without breaking my rod.  A few minutes later I got him in.  He was a monster and that's my bass story. (Thanks Bo for sending me the story)!
