Hunting Buddies

Seth shot his first rabbit with his single shot 410 shotgun on January 31st.  He was hunting with Nana Gertie, Pa Pa James and cousin, Lynn Harvell.  The next day they hunted again and in those two days Seth shot three cottontails. He was a happy little guy and not bad shooting for a 8 year old young man.  Seth completed his hunters education course and is using his skills, just like a family tradition!

Lucky Hunter's - Seths big day!

Not bad for a days bunny hunting.  Seth did his part and shot two of these.  Lynn got lucky and shot a big Swamp rabbit. Left to right:  James A. Barber, Lynn Allen Harvell and Seth Allen Douglas Frasier. (Camera woman, Guess who?)

Seth's second cottontail! Good going Seth and looking forward to next weekends hunt...

Seth's first swamp rabbit!

Seth and his first swamp rabbit.  He is sure getting the hang of that lever action 410 shotgun! He was hunting with his Pa Pa James, Nana Gertie and cousin, Lynn Harvell on Big Skin Creek when the beagles brought this big swamp into his shooting range!   (go to Oklahoma anglers on this site and take a look at his 38 pound catfish he caught recently on the Arkansas River)!
